In normal cells, lysosomes (red) are dispersed around the nucleus. In abnormal cells, vacuoles appear around the nucleus, with abnormal lysosome (red) number and distribution.

Competitor medium:During cell culture with competitor medium, vacuoles gradually appear around the nucleus and abnormally enlarge over passages.

Our medium:Lysosomes (red) are diffusely distributed around the nucleus, with stable morphology and distribution, no abnormalities.

  • Q: Does this medium support primary cell isolation?

A: Yes. This medium supports primary culture, passaging, and proliferation of adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and mesenchymal stromal cells.

Q: Is there a phenol red-containing version of this medium?

A: Yes. This product is available in two versions: with phenol red and without phenol red.

Q: What is the culture efficiency of this product?

A: Testing has shown that using a 10-layer cell factory for 5 days can yield up to 700 million cells, with stable cell morphology and pluripotency maintained.

Q: Does the serum-free basal medium for mesenchymal cells require coating before use?

A: No pre-coating is required. However, for primary cell culture and cell passaging, it is recommended to use the MSC Attachment Enhancer in combination. The attachment enhancer can improve cell outgrowth efficiency during primary culture, and enhance cell proliferation efficiency during passaging, shortening the cell harvest time from 5–6 days per generation to 3–4 days per generation.
